Work With Walk Wheel Ride

Walk Wheel Ride is an active travel initiative, created and managed by EPIKS (Environmental Projects in Kirklees)., supporting people of all ages and abilities to walk, wheel and cycle more as part of everyday life. Our work is rooted in communities. We partner with local organisations, employers and residents to make active travel accessible, welcoming and practical, improving wellbeing while reducing our impact on the environment. From community engagement and events to communications and project delivery, our roles are hands-on, people-focused and driven by real-world impact. We actively welcome applications from people who are Black, Asian and ethnic minority communities, disabled people, people from low-income backgrounds, LGBTQ+ communities, and others who are under-represented in the environmental and transport sectors.

EPIKS Organisation Manager

-Could you lead and support a dedicated team of staff working on diverse but interlinked
projects that vary in size and duration?
-We are looking for a dynamic, flexible and experienced manager to provide leadership of a
variety of exciting and innovative environmental projects and improving EPIKS’ long-term
sustainability through both effective delivery and securing future workstreams.
