Huddersfield

Our Huddersfield Community Active Travel Hub is a pop-up space at a number of places within Huddersfield town centre- to reach as many people as possible, one day we might be at S2R and one day we might be at the Media Centre, but we will always let you know in advance so you can come find us for all your active travel needs!

The Huddersfield hub will be running plenty of activities over the coming months to get involved with-from Dr Bike sessions, guided walks and rides, accessible routes and maintenance workshops. Keep an eye on our social media, our monthly newsletter or our website for our next event.

At any of our events our team will be on hand to provide support for those interested in walking, wheeling and riding more often, with resources and guidance to help you on your journey. If you are interested in finding out more please email Beth@epiks.org.uk.

We’re currently looking for passionate volunteers to help us bring active travel to life. Roles include Events Assistant, Bike Maintenance, E-Cargo Bike Rider and a Photographer/Filmmaker. Contact Beth on the email above to find out more.

What We Can Offer

Our Huddersfield Active Travel Hub is here to help you walk, wheel or cycle more. We offer support with:

• E-bike try out sessions;
• Adult cycle confidence training sessions;
• Route planning;
• Self-guided walking and cycling routes;
• Social walks and rides;
• Engagement with people to discuss barriers to walking, wheeling and cycling and measures that would help overcome those barriers.
