EPIKS is offering the district its next batch of free e-bike test rides. Take a guided ride on the country park's bridleway and then nearby streets with our experienced qualified instructor.
Each hour-long session will begin at the EPIKS stand just off the lower car park near the cafe (what3words /// units.mute.alert). We’ll start with a helmet fitting (helmets and hi-vis vest provided by us). There will then be brief 'show-and-tell' and a quick spin to familiarise you with the bike (and make sure you're happy with riding).
The instructor will then lead your group of up to four cyclists on a short cycle ride around the area to get a feel of the benefits that e-bikes can bring in hilly North Kirklees.
