BetterPoints is a free rewards app that gives you points for eligible journeys and activities across West Yorkshire. You can redeem your points for rewards, use them with participating businesses or donate them to EPIKS to support our work in Kirklees.
How does BetterPoints work?
Getting started is simple. Here’s how to make the most of the app.
1. Download the app and sign up
Download BetterPoints from the Apple App Store or Google Play and create your free account. When signing up, enter the referral code EPIKS to connect with us and from this initial referral we will both receive bonus points.
2. Start earning points
Use BetterPoints to earn points for eligible journeys, including walking, wheeling, cycling and public transport. Follow the instructions in the app to track your journeys and check which activities qualify for points. You may also find local challenges and additional opportunities to earn rewards.
3. Choose how to use your points
Your points can be turned into rewards, with options depending on what’s available through the app. These may include vouchers and offers from participating businesses. You can also donate your points to EPIKS, helping to support environmental projects and community activities across Kirklees.
4. Discover local challenges and activities
Keep an eye out for BetterPoints challenges and opportunities to get involved in your area. We’re working to connect BetterPoints with Walk Wheel Ride activities and participating locations, giving you more opportunities to get active, explore Kirklees and earn points along the way. Look out for updates about eligible events, activities and locations as these become available.
